MotleyLooking to join a running club in East Lancashire? Look no further, Clayton-le-Moors Harriers are always on the lookout for new talent and as the largest running club in the area we are sure to be able to cater for the needs of all athletes! With a thriving Junior section why not get all the family involved?

Junior XC

We hold regular training nights which can be found on our Junior and Senior training pages. We cater for absolute novices through to seasoned athletes and we are able to help you realise your goals, whether that be completing your first 5k or your 46th Three Peaks race!

Our members regularly compete on the Road and Fells, and get involved in the Cross Country leagues throughout the winter months. But don’t feel as a member of Clayton that there is any pressure to race; we pride ourselves as much on the hard work of less talented runners achieving their goals!

We have a strong team ethos with entries into many relay events including the Witton Park Trail Relays, the Regional Road Relays and the Ian Hodgson Mountain Relay.

A good social can always be had with pub visits after training and racing weekends away.

So don’t hesitate to join us for a run, the future’s bright!
